A gorgeous tweed look with delicate little viscose neps running through it. YarnArt Tweed is made up of 30% wool, 60% acrylic, and 10% viscose. It’s beautifully soft, completely itch-free, and has just the right amount of a cozy, rustic vibe. Absolutely perfect for whipping up sweaters, cardigans, or winter accessories.
300 meters per 100 grams. The yarn glides effortlessly off the needles and works up smoothly despite the little neps. It holds its shape perfectly—won't stretch out or sag, and it’s completely machine washable.
Recommended needle size is 3 to 4 mm. Knitting a quick swatch first is a great way to see exactly how those gorgeous little neps distribute across your fabric. Simple, plain stitches are all you need—the tweed effect totally does the work for you!
Do you know what I like about this yarn? The little nubs aren't overpowering at all. They are just there, but they don't get in the way while you knit. No snagging, no fussing around. My tip: if you really want to highlight the nubs, go with a very plain stitch pattern—so no cables or lacework. That way, the little viscose dots look incredibly elegant. Give it a try!
